It was a darker beige, and to me, it's just pretty to look at but it made the room look dark. Also, his room would have been facing the courtyard, but it was covering over a part of the courtyard, so he would not have been receiving daylight. I like natural lighting and so does he, but it's still a beautiful community. It's a very nice place, very happy place, very clean, it's a new facility, and everybody seemed to really care about the residents. They have a memory care unit up on the second floor that's secure, which is probably where we're going to wind up putting mother at this time instead of the actual assisted living before. The hallways were wide enough, and the level of the rooms were fine.

The memory care had a lovely veranda that's screened in, and you can overlook this massive beautiful courtyard. The room seemed pretty fine and cozy, and they had everything they needed. The staff was very efficient, very kind, friendly, and they know what they're doing. They've got a lot of programs set up for the people who live there.
